I had two discussions this evening, one with my 85+ year old mom and one with my almost 40 year old nephew and they both expressed their frustration with the medical community, doctors etc., and trying to make appointments. My recent experience has been quite the opposite thanks to Legacy Dermatology. I was reminded of what a pleasant experience I had with Legacy - especially considering it involved cancer removal (BCC). Sorry HIPPA - it’s my info and I don’t mind sharing. I noticed I had a new growth on my leg a few months ago and I used Legacy’s messaging app to send a picture and they immediately responded back with a suggestion I come in. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and they saw me a few days later. I arrived on time and they took me right away (for all three visits (pre-op, op and post op). They confirmed my suspicion and did a biopsy which came back positive, so we scheduled the minor operation for a week or so out and that went well. The staff is friendly and very professional. I went in two weeks later for follow up and stitch removal! All is well. I would recommend them to anyone! More

Had a great appointment with Denisa! I came to this office for her, specifically. The office was clean and welcoming, and the staff was extremely professional and very polite. Even their office policy documents were clear, concise, and informative, in a way that wasn't your typical "legal, medical document." The office manager was very understanding, and pleasant to talk to. She explained the reasoning behind some of the questions on the forms, and how she is working to change the inclusion of those questions. I loved the music that they were playing, as well; it made me feel comforted and welcomed. This seems minor, but I love that each room had its own theme, including a name plate outside the room. It feels "warmer" to enter into the "Seaside" room, rather than "Room 3." Would recommend this practice (Prosper location) to others. More

After healing my skin rash, she introduced me to a skin tone corrector, Sente` which has nearly erased the dark circles under both eyes due to eye drops for Glaucoma. She also offered me a tinted sunscreen for my brown skin so I don't look chalky. She has a wonderful nurse, Cindy who just makes your visit so comfortable. Dr Dharamsi is a great dermatologist. I came to Dr Jenny Dharamsi for my first skin check after our move to Texas. I have a history of Melanoma as a young adult. She was so detailed and professional as she understood my background and also highly detailed as she checked me. She questioned mole on my left ear, talked through the options, and biopsied It. 2 weeks later she called and told me it was melanoma. The empathy and advocacy that she met me with that day was remarkable. She talked through the options, and I asked for her best recommendation for the surgery. I’ve been coming to Legacy for a few years now, not only my yearly skin checks, but also Botox injections. I’ve been to other “skincare” facilities, but learned my lesson quickly. Other places may be cheaper, but when it comes to Botox, you really should go to Legacy. The injections are virtually painless, they are educated and highly skilled, and they always make me feel comfortable. I’ve never had any issues or “accidents” like I’ve had at other places. Trust me, you want to go to Legacy. They also have amazing dermatology services. Thanks to them, they caught basal cell carcinoma twice and they caught it early enough for me successfully have it removed before it was able to spread or get worse. I have been a patient here since 2019 when I was originally diagnosed with Melanoma. Dr. D took a class at my gym and actually told me that I needed to have a spot checked, said to schedule with her office the next week. Within a month, my melanoma was diagnosed and removed. I will trust her forever with my skin. . Dr D is so thorough and has excellent patient empathy. My melanoma left me with a scar on my face that has been treated by Dr Farid. Most people don’t even see my scar. He is an artist with your face and will listen to what you want and offer you honest advice, even if it means you spend less money. I recently saw Sarah, one of the PA’s , and she too is fantastic, so much so that I booked appointments with her for my children.
